Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Anadarko is a city in Caddo County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 6,645 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Caddo County. The town is the home of the Native American drum group Cozad Singers. It is the birthplace of writer Jim Thompson, the Comanche-Kiowa artist Blackbear Bosin, and major league baseball pitcher Cal McLish.
