Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Presho is a small city in Lyman County, South Dakota, United States. It is named for J. S. Presho, an early settler from New York who arrived in the area in 1858. The population was 588 at the 2000 census.
