Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Chapmanville is a town in Logan County, West Virginia, in the United States. The population was 1,211 at the 2000 census. Chapmanville was founded in 1800 and named for an early settler named Ned Chapman, who owned a store and ran the post office. It was incorporated in 1947.
