Caledonia is a city in Houston County, Minnesota, United States and is part of the La Crosse, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,965 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Houston County. Caledonia is located 17 miles southwest of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Caledonia is known as the "Wild Turkey Capital of Minnesota".
