Examples of NPOs include charities (i.e. charitable organizations), trade unions, and public arts organizations. Hudson is a city in Black Hawk County, Iowa, United States. The population was 2,117 at the 2000 census. Hudson has grown in recent years as a suburb of Waterloo and Cedar Falls. It is part of the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.
