A non-profit organization (abbreviated as NPO, also known as a not-for-profit organization) is an organization that does not distribute its surplus funds to owners or shareholders, but instead uses them to help pursue its goals. Rawlings is an unincorporated community in Allegany County, Maryland, United States, on the McMullen Highway. It was originally known as Rawlings Station after a post office was established on the railroad there on March 7, 1856.
