Comstock Park, established as "Mill Creek" on Indian Mill Creek in the 19th century, is an unincorporated community in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a census-designated place (CDP) for statistical purposes. The population was 10,674 at the 2000 census. The CDP covers an area in southeast Alpine Township and southwest Plainfield Township near the Grand River. The Comstock Park ZIP code 49321 larger areas in central and eastern Alpine Township and western Plainfield Township, as well as a small area of southern Algoma Township. The town hosts the West Michigan Whitecaps baseball club of the Midwest League.
