A non-profit organization (abbreviated as NPO, also known as a not-for-profit organization) is an organization that does not distribute its surplus funds to owners or shareholders, but instead uses them to help pursue its goals. Steens is an unincorporated village in Lowndes County in the U.S. state of Mississippi. Steens is located at 33°33′48″N 88°18′58″W / 33.56333°N 88.31611°W / 33.56333; -88.31611 northeast of Columbus. According to the United States Geological Survey, a variant name is Jamisons Mill.
