Pleasant Hill is a city in Cass County, Missouri, United States. The population was 5,582 at the 2000 census. Pleasant Hill is home for the Kansas City/Pleasant Hill National Weather Service Forecast Office, which serves 37 counties in northern and western Missouri and seven counties in extreme east-central Kansas.
