A non-profit organization (abbreviated as NPO, also known as a not-for-profit organization) is an organization that does not distribute its surplus funds to owners or shareholders, but instead uses them to help pursue its goals. Mayodan is a town in Rockingham County, North Carolina, in the United States. It is a manufacturing site for Bridgestone Aircraft Tire and General Tobacco. The town is named for two rivers that converge nearby, the Mayo and the Dan, and is the only town in the world with this name.
