Examples of NPOs include charities (i.e. charitable organizations), trade unions, and public arts organizations. Attorneys who work with non-profit organizations help in establishing and operating a non-profit within the requirements of the law, deal with issues of taxation, corporate governance, telephone solicitation and charitable fraud.
Shippingport is a borough in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, along the Ohio River. The population was 237 at the 2000 census. Shippingport is famous for being the site of the United States's first commercial nuclear power plant, the Shippingport Atomic Power Station, which began operation in 1957.
