A non-profit organization (abbreviated as NPO, also known as a not-for-profit organization) is an organization that does not distribute its surplus funds to owners or shareholders, but instead uses them to help pursue its goals. Examples of NPOs include charities (i.e. charitable organizations), trade unions, and public arts organizations. Langley is an unincorporated community in the Midland Valley area of Aiken County, South Carolina, United States. It is bordered by Gloverville, South Carolina, and Lynwood, South Carolina, and more recently, Burnettown which approved an annexation of some unincorporated land five years ago, but has just begun the annex. Langley is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.
