Navarro (formerly, Novarro and Navarro Ridge) is an unincorporated community in Mendocino County, California. It is located 18 miles (29 km) west of Ukiah, at an elevation of 269 feet (82 m). The Navarro Ridge post office opened in 1867, changed its name in 1888, and closed in 1902. The name Navarro was subsequently applied to a place 14 miles (23 km) east of the present town at Wendling.
