Standish is an unincorporated community in Lassen County, California. It is located 2.25 miles (3.6 km) southwest of Litchfield, at an elevation of 4049 feet (1234 m). Sandish is the north terminus of the County route A3 and the junction with U.S. Route 395. Standish Hall is a registered historic place. The community was laid out in 1897. The post office opened in 1899, having been transferred from Datura. The name honors Miles Standish.
