Saddle Brook is a township in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the township population was 13,155. Saddle Brook adopted its current name on November 8, 1955, replacing Saddle River Township. Saddle River Township was created on March 20, 1716, and consisted of all of the territory in Bergen County west of the Saddle River. This makes it one of the oldest municipalities in Bergen County.
