Altonah (also Altona) is an unincorporated community in central Duchesne County, Utah, United States, and on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation. It lies along local roads north of State Route 87, north of the city of Duchesne, the county seat of Duchesne County. Its elevation is 6,673 feet (2,034 m), and it is located at 40°24′5″N 110°17′38″W / 40.40139°N 110.29389°W / 40.40139; -110.29389 (40.4013411, -110.2937692). Although Altonah is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 84002.
