Personal injury includes injuries to the body, mind or emotions, as opposed to an injury to property. If the negligence of another person can be proved, the person who is injured may be entitled to monetary compensation from that person who was negligent. The town of Parsons is the county seat of Tucker County, West Virginia, in the United States. The population was 1,463 at the 2000 census. The town was named for Ward Parsons, described by one source as having once owned the land on which the town was built, and by another as having been an aged wilderness pioneer in the area. Currently the Mayor of Parsons, is Mayor Bill Rosenau. The city administrator is Jason Myers, and numerous city council members serve.
