It is located along the Lehigh River which connects White Haven to Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. The population was 1,182 at the 2000 census. White Haven is located 17 miles south of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and 4 miles west of the I-476 and I-80 interchange. White Haven's elevation is 1300 feet above sea level.
