Iola is a city in Grimes County, Texas, United States. It is about 23 miles (37 km) from Anderson and just over 30 miles (48 km) from Navasota. It has a population of approximately 350. On November 6, 2007, it became the fifth incorporated city in Grimes County after a residential vote.
