Haddonfield is a borough located in Camden County, New Jersey. As of the United States 2000 Census, the borough had a total population of 11,659. Haddonfield was incorporated by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 6, 1875, within portions of Haddon Township, based on the results of a referendum held that same day. The borough separated from Haddon Township as an independent municipality in 1894. Haddonfield was the second municipality in New Jersey to establish a historical preservation district. In keeping with the historic appearance of the borough, some candidates for commissioner distribute colored ribbons to their supporters instead of yard signs. Although the sale of liquor has been forbidden since 1873, it was at Haddonfield's Indian King Tavern, in the winter of 1777, that the New Jersey General Assembly met and declared New Jersey a free and independent state. New Jersey Monthly magazine ranked Haddonfield as the 100th best place to live in New Jersey in its 2008 rankings of the "Best Places To Live" in New Jersey.

What is product liability law?

Products liability doctrine holds a manufacturer, or other party involved in selling a product, strictly liable when an article, placed into the market with knowledge that it is to be used without inspection for defects, proves to have a defect that causes a personal injury. Consumers who are injured because of a fault with a product that the consumers had no ability to protect themselves against may recover against the manufacturer under a theory of products liability.
