Newton is a town in Cache County, Utah, United States. It was founded in 1869 by LDS Pioneers of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The population was 699 at the 2000 census. It is included in the Logan, Utah-Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area.
