A rollover is a type of vehicle accident, where a vehicle turns over on its side or roof. Such accidents have a tendency to badly injure the occupants of the vehicle, car, bus or truck involved and those around the vehicle. While many auto accidents occur because of human error, many also can be caused or worsened by defective products or inadequate safety mechanisms. Among these problems are vehicles that are prone to rollovers, especially increasingly popular sport utility vehicles, or SUVs. A number of vehicles have also been found to have roofs that cannot withstand rollover accidents, with drivers and passengers injured and killed. Big Sky is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gallatin and Madison counties in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Montana. Located immediately west of the Gallatin River and U.S. Route 191, Big Sky is approximately midway between West Yellowstone and Bozeman. The population was 1,221 at the 2000 census. The community is also home to a ski resort of the same name. Big Sky is near the private resort community, Yellowstone Club, which is located west of the town of Big Sky.
