Guin is a city in Marion County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 2,389. On April 3, 1974, Guin was devastated by an F5 tornado during the Super Outbreak, the largest tornado outbreak on record. The death toll in Guin was 30, which, at the time, was 11% of the population.
