Securities may take a number of different forms, including stocks, bonds, notes, collateral trust certificates, voting trust certificates or investment contracts. Securities attorneys represent clients in transactions and legal disputes related to stocks, mutual funds, bonds, and initial public offerings (IPOs). Securities attorneys may represent a corporation or shareholders in a securities fraud lawsuit against officers and directors of the corporation, or may assist clients in matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
San Marcos is a city in the North County section of San Diego County, California. As of 2009, the city had a total population of 83,149. Outside the San Diego region, it is best known as the home of California State University, San Marcos. The city is bordered by Escondido to the southeast, Encinitas to the Southwest, Carlsbad to the west, and Vista to the northwest.
