A security is a type of transferable interest representing financial value. Securities may take a number of different forms, including stocks, bonds, notes, collateral trust certificates, voting trust certificates or investment contracts. Securities attorneys represent clients in transactions and legal disputes related to stocks, mutual funds, bonds, and initial public offerings (IPOs). Armada (pronounced “ar-MAY-duh”) is a village in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,573 at the 2000 census. The 2008 Census Bureau Estimate places the population at 1,657. The village is located within Armada Township. Sportscaster Dick Enberg grew up in Armada. A country fair is held in the village each August.
