Harbor Springs is a city in Emmet County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,567 at the 2000 census. The area is known for its historic summer resorts, such as Wequetonsing, which was founded by Illinois businessmen and lawyers Henry Stryker, III, and Henry Brigham McClure, both of whom were interconnected with the Jacob Bunn industrial dynasty of Illinois.
