Barksdale is a small unincorporated town in the hill country section of the U.S. state of Texas. It is located in Edwards County and holds a population of a few hundred. It's referred to as a "no stop-light town"; Highway 55 passes right through it. Barksdale is home to many ranches and most of them offer great locations for Axis deer hunting and fishing.
