The town is located in the eastern corner of the county, bordered by New Canaan, Connecticut to the east, Stamford, Connecticut to the south, Bedford, New York to the west and Lewisboro, New York to the north. The local school is the Pound Ridge Elementary School, one of five K-5 schools in the Bedford Central School District.
