Nanty Glo is a borough in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 3,054 at the 2000 census. The name comes from the Welsh "Nant y Glo", meaning "The Ravine (or "Brook") of Coal".
