Florence is a town in Florence County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,319 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Florence County. The ZIP code is 54121. Florence is also the name of an unincorporated community within the town about 11 miles (18 km) northwest of Iron Mountain, Michigan. The unincorporated community of Spread Eagle is located in the town as well.

Utilities have a duty to provide safe and adequate service on reasonable terms to anyone who lives within the service area on without discriminating between customers.
