Minneapolis is a city in Ottawa County, Kansas, United States. The population was 2,046 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Ottawa County. It shares its name with the much larger and more famous city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as the small township of Minneapolis, North Carolina. Rock City is located just southwest of town. Minneapolis is part of the Salina Micropolitan Statistical Area.
