Irrigon is a city in Morrow County, Oregon, United States, on the Columbia River and U.S. Route 730. Irrigon was incorporated in 1957. The Umatilla Chemical Depot, and the Umatilla Chemical Agent Disposal Facility, is located four-miles south of the city, northeast of the intersection of I-84 and I-82. Three-miles west of Irrigon is the Irrigon Hatchery. The population was 1,702 at the 2000 census. Irrigon is part of the Pendleton–Hermiston Micropolitan Statistical Area.
