Cal. Educ. Code § 33533

Curriculum Development and Supplemental Materials Commission

The Superintendent of Public Instruction and the State Board of Education shall consider for membership on the commission persons representing subjects commonly taught in public schools, including:

(a) English.

(b) Social sciences.

(c) Foreign languages.

(d) Science.

(e) Mathematics.

(f) Visual and performing arts.

(g) Applied arts.

(h) Conservation education.
