Golden State Education and Training Grant Program Act

As of January 1, 2011
On or before January 1, 2012, and annually thereafter, the commission shall submit a report to the Legislature. The report shall include all of the following:
(a) The number of participants in the program.
(b) The locations where the participants practice or attend school.
(c) The amount expended for the program’s operation and the amount collected in donations for the program.
(a) This article shall be known as the Golden State Education and Training Grant Program Act.
(b) For purposes of this article:
(1) “Commission” means the Student Aid Commission.
(2) “Grant” means a Golden State Education and Training Grant awarded pursuant to this article.
(3) “Institution of higher education” means a campus or extension center of the University of California, the California State University, or the California Community Colleges.
(4) “Program” means the Golden State Education and Training Grant Program established by this article.
