The California Science Center, with the approval of the State and Consumer Services Agency, may build, construct, and maintain and operate a stadium or any arena, pavilion, or other building that is to be used for the holding of sports events, athletic contests, contests of skill, exhibitions, spectacles, and other public meetings. It may lease, let, or grant licenses for the use of that stadium, arena, pavilion, or other building, with the approval of the agency.
