If the farm products creditor fails, refuses, or neglects to file in the office of the director his or her verified claim as requested by the director under this chapter, within 60 days from the date of the request, the director is relieved of further duty or liability pursuant to this chapter on behalf of the farm products creditor.
(a) The committee shall annually elect a chair from its membership and, from time to time, other officers as it deems necessary.
(b) The committee shall meet at the call of its chair or the secretary. The committee shall meet at least once a year to review an annual budget and licensing fees.
