No advertising or sales promotion program which is conducted or sponsored by the director shall make any false or unwarranted claim, or disparage the quality, value, use, or sale of any commodity which is authorized by law to be marketed in this state, nor shall any such program be conducted with reference to a brand or trade name.
An advertising or sales promotion program that is conducted or sponsored by the council shall not make any false or unwarranted claim, shall not disparage the quality, value, use, or sale of any commodity that is authorized by law to be marketed in this state, and shall not be conducted with reference to a brand or trade name.
