A transfer may be accomplished without examination pursuant to rule. The department or appointing authority may require an employee to demonstrate in an examination that he or she possesses any additional or different requirements that are included in the minimum qualifications of the class to which the employee is transferring.
A transfer may be accomplished without examination pursuant to board rules.
