The special charge described in Section 40470 shall only be imposed upon an affirmative vote of a majority of all of the electors of the city voting on the proposition at an election called for that purpose. The charge shall be in an amount and for a period not to exceed five years which shall be stated on the ballot.
The special charge described in Section 40470 shall only be imposed pursuant to Article 3.5 (commencing with Section 50075) of Chapter 1 of Part 1 of Division 1 of Title 5. The charge shall be in an amount and for a period not to exceed five years which shall be stated on the ballot.
