If a city that is a member of the Orangeline Development Authority establishes an infrastructure financing district pursuant to this chapter for the purpose of providing funding for public transit facilities, that city may provide some or all of this funding to the Orangeline Development Authority for the purposes of furthering public transit facilities within the jurisdiction of the authority, including facilities related to magnetic levitation.
