Economic Disaster Act of 1984

As used in this chapter, the term “disaster” means those conditions specified in subdivisions (b) and (c) of Section 8558 if the estimated damage exceeds three billion dollars ($3,000,000,000) or the Governor orders the Secretary of Emergency Management to carry out the provisions of this chapter.
