Cal. Gov. Code § 905.3

General Provisions

Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, no claim shall be submitted by a local agency or school district, nor shall a claim be considered by the California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board pursuant to Section 905.2, if that claim is eligible for consideration by the Commission on State Mandates pursuant to Article 1 (commencing with Section 17550) of Chapter 4 of Part 7 of Division 4 of Title 2.
