(a) Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 7052, cremated remains may be removed from the place of interment for disposition as provided in Section 7054.6 or for burial at sea as provided in Section 7117.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 7052, cremated, reduced, or hydrolyzed human remains may be removed from the place of interment for disposition as provided in Section 7054.5 or 7054.6 or for burial at sea as provided in Section 7117.
(b) This section shall remain in effect only until July 1, 2020, and as of that date is repealed.
