(a) Members of the commission shall not receive a salary but shall be entitled to reimbursement for actual expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
(b) The chairperson of the commission shall be elected by the members.
The Regents of the University of California may delegate responsibilities pursuant to this article to the President of the University of California or another person determined to be appropriate.
