Coordination of Emergency Operations

(a) The commissioner, in cooperation with insurers, the California Emergency Management Agency, and other emergency service agencies, shall establish procedures for the coordination of efforts between insurers and their representatives and those of emergency response agencies.

(b) The commissioner shall assign a representative of the commissioner to work within the state’s regional emergency operations centers. The representative shall complete the appropriate Standardized Emergency Management Systems training.
