The district shall take such steps as may be necessary to obtain coverage for the district and its employees under Title 2 of the Federal Social Security Act, as amended, and the related provisions of the Federal Contributions Act, as amended.
The VTA shall take the steps as may be necessary to obtain coverage for the VTA and its employees under Title 2 of the Federal Social Security Act, as amended, and the related provisions of the Federal Contributions Act, as amended.
