The director shall notify the United States Internal Revenue Service and the United States Department of Labor of the failure of any Indian tribe (as described by subsection (u) of Section 3306 of Title 26 of the United States Code) to make a payment of any amount required to be paid under this article within 90 days of the date of a notice specifying the amount due. If the amount due is subsequently paid by the Indian tribe, the director shall notify the United States Internal Revenue Service and the United States Department of Labor of the satisfaction of the liability.
