As used in this part 5, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) “Approved school” means any university or other institution of higher education offering a full-time graduate course of study in marriage and family therapy accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education, a nationally recognized accrediting agency as determined by the board, or a substantially equivalent program approved by the board. (2) “Board” means the state board of marriage and family therapist examiners created in section 12-245-502 . (2.5) “Clinical supervision” means: (a) The evaluation and modification or approval by a supervisor of the clinical practice of the person being supervised; and (b) A source of knowledge, expertise, and more advanced skills made available to the person being supervised. (3) “Licensed marriage and family therapist” means a person licensed under the provisions of this part 5.
