C.R.S. § 22-29-102

As used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) “Board of cooperative services” shall have the same meaning as provided in section 22-5-103 (2). (2) “Department” means the state department of education created pursuant to section 24-1-115 , C.R.S. (3) “School district” means any school district organized and existing pursuant to law, but does not include a local college district. (4) “State board” means the state board of education created pursuant to section 1 of article IX of the state constitution.
