Initiative petitions; registration

A person who violates s. 100.371(4)(a) commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

Note.--Section 6, ch. 2019-64, provides that “[t]he provisions of this act apply to all revisions or amendments to the State Constitution by initiative that are proposed for the 2020 election ballot and each ballot thereafter; provided, however, that nothing in this act affects the validity of any petition form gathered before the effective date of this act or any contract entered into before the effective date of this act.”
